Does toothpaste dry up zits in less than 24 hours?

i really need to get rid of some zits for picture day tomorrow! does toothpast really dry zits up in less than 24 hours? if not any other ideas without going out and purchasing acne products and or caking on makeup!?Does toothpaste dry up zits in less than 24 hours?
haha, whoa! i have picture day tomorrow too!

%26amp;yes,toothpaste does dry up your pimples but i don't know how quick it works,it will probably dry it up in twenyfour hours, because,i think your suppose to put it on your acne before you go to bed%26amp;then in the morning take it off%26amp;it should be dried up,but they wont be gone, your skin will just be really dry.

:/

but,ehh,goodluck!

:]Does toothpaste dry up zits in less than 24 hours?
no, toothpaste doesnt work.

try neosporin.
This is a myth. Gently exfoliate and apply an acne cream that should help. Doubt it will happen in 24 hour though.
I wouldn't suggest it...toothpaste might get rid of the zit, but it will also dry up the skin around it and make it flaky and hard to cover up. I would just leave it completely - wash it, but don't mess with it otherwise. Picking or using extreme spot treatments will increase redness and irritation. You don't necessarily have to cake on make-up - a thin layer should work. Eyedrops can help get rid of redness - yes, I know, eyedrops on a zit, but it works! Also, some schools have the option of touch-up on your picture to get rid of zits in your picture - that works really well, and if the zit doesn't clear up, I'd try it. Good luck!
Ive never heard of that, but it sounds plausible
