I popped some zits inbetween my eyebrows and then i got a dark mark in that area??

Well i had some zits inbetween my eyebrows and i popped them then covered the area with acne cream then woke up and i have this dark mark..doesnt feel like a scab just a mark and its not red its dark....im putting vitamin e cream on it...when will it be gone??I popped some zits inbetween my eyebrows and then i got a dark mark in that area??
its a blemish, and it will go away within a week.

when the bump above the skin is gone, it just leaves a dark or reddish mark under the skin for awhile, especially for people who tan easily.

ive never tried vitamin e, but it could work i guess.I popped some zits inbetween my eyebrows and then i got a dark mark in that area??
First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.
The same thing happens to me when I get zits. The only thing that worked for my dark spots was bleaching cream. I put it on the effected area every night before I go to sleep. I use the Ambi skincare products because it also contain sunscreen; so the spot will not get darker. Hope this helps
It may last for days or weeks, so just use some good cover up and never pop zits again!
Well, a quote from a Proactiv booklet says that ';Picking blemishes can forse bacteria may also lead to scarring.'; This could be scarring. It also says that dark spots are a result of acne.
What the mark is called is Hyperpigmention. It is common among black, and sensitive skin types. The best way to treat it is to gently exfoliate with glycolic acid or an extrmely gentle manual exfoliant.

Hyperpigmentation occurs when the skin goes through trama, such as a chemical peel, or a zit. it may take time depending on how fast your skin can heal itself. The general healing process may take up to a week, month, or maybe even a year..but thats very unlikely.

I hope you find my answer helpful,

It's probably a bit of bleeding under the skin, which can happen if you pinch your skin hard enough. It should heal in about the same time it would normally take a zit to heal!
